Cause and Effect

Hiii, welcome ... with me lutfi, i will explain about cause and effect.

 》》Understanding Cause and Effect

Cause and effect is a text that writes about the analysis of a writer to provide a lesson that has several causes and effects.  The causes that are analyzed may be two or more and the others are the resulting consequences.  Cause and effects is usually in academic writing rather than creative writing.  Often the writer needs a clear analysis to determine cause and effect so that the writer can avoid mistakes in the preparation.

》》Generic Structure (general arrangement)

Cause and effect also has a generic structure, namely:

 1. The composition of the cause and effect must have a topic sentence (main / main sentence) to discuss cause and effect

 2. Supporting sentences from the cause and effect

 3. Concluding sentences (conclusion sentences) from the cause and effect

》》Cause and Effect Sentences in English

You can usually easily identify sentences that have a cause-and-effect relationship if they contain words or phrases such as:

●Due to

●Because of

●Owing to

●Thanks to

● As a consequence of

● As a result of

● Because

● Since

●etc.

To express cause and effect in English, the above sentence or phrase will usually be followed by a noun or verb.

A cause and effect word followed by a noun or noun phrase usually uses a word or phrase (signal word / phase) such as:

In the next example the noun or noun phrase will be underlined.  Cause or cause is always written after the causal phrase (signal word / phase) as in the example above.  Below are common patterns:

Signal word / phrase + Cause + Effect

In the next example the subject + verb or verb phrase will be underlined.  Cause or cause is always written after the causal phrase (signal word / phase) as in the example above.  Below are common patterns:
