  The Power of Music in our life

Do you agree that music is important in our life? Yes I do, music has certain role completing our day to day activities. Here are some reasons why music is heard everywhere andanywhere. Music is a way to express feelings. When we fall in love, the kind of music we’d listen to would be all about love. When we’re sad, we would go for music that is melancholic in nature and immerse ourselves in the sadness. When we’re happy, we’d choose songs with happy tunes too.

Song can help to memorize the last experiences. A favorite song is a powerful documentary. People with Alzheimer which are impaired the brain would remember details about songs they were familiar with. For example, an elderly woman who couldn’t even remember her husband’s name wouldremember the details of her favorite song; when it was played, how it made her feel and things about the song that made it especially memorable for her.

Further, music can unite people for a cause and changes the world. A song with good lyric and striking deep chord can stimulate the universal feeling of all people. We can see it in the case of the famous and legendary Michael Jacson's Heal the World. It can arouse humanism of a lot people in this world.So what would the world be like without music? It would be lonely.

Hortatory Exposition

Definition of Hortatory Exposition

 Hortatory Exposition is a type of persuasive text or oral material in English that is used to explain the reader or listener that something should not be or should be done.  Just like Analytical Exposition texts, this type of text is also very popular in academic circles and can be found in scientific books, journals, magazines, newspaper articles, academic speeches, and so on.

This type of text is indeed very identical to the Analytical Exposition text, but there are different purposes for these two texts.  If the Analytical Exposition text aims to make readers or listeners aware of an issue, this text aims to force the reader or listener to agree with what is being said.  In addition, there are differences in the text structure to distinguish the two types of text

~~~Characteristics of a Hortatory Exposition
 There are several characteristics of this text, namely:
 •It is a persuasive text with supporting reasons.
 •Using Simple Present Tense
 •Using conjunctions such as first, second, third, next, furthermore, additionally and so on.
 •Contains recommendations that usually begin with: in my opinion, it is better…, for these reasons, should…, I think… should…, and so on.
 2. Arguments
 Arguments contain opinions that support the main idea.  The more opinions that are written, the more interesting a Hortatory Exposition Text is because readers or listeners tend to believe in an event if there are many supportive opinions in it.
 3. Recommendation
 Unlike the Analytical Exposition text which has a Conclusion, this text has a recommendation section for the reader to conclude the text.  Recommendations contain suggestions addressed to readers on related topics discussed in the text.
   Why Students Should Manage Their Stress
Stress among student can be caused by interpersonal which includes the factor like relationships with family and friend or because of the academic itself. Workload of college, difficult tests, and other academic obstacles may also lead to stress. Thus, stress among students can be dangerous for several reasons. Firstly, major negative effect of stress is on emotional health.
Emotional health problem is more dangerous than physical health problem because it can lead to most disastrous effects of all that is committing suicide. Emotional or mental health is an expression of our emotions and signifies a failure adaptation to the range of demands in life. The stressful life events can lead to all the failure just by conquering our mind. Thus, it is very important to maintain our mental and emotional health because once our emotional health was disturbed, it can lead to various of diseases such as depression, anxiety, emotional eating, anger and so on.
The second disastrous effect of stress to an individual especially students is on academic performance. Actually this effect affected students beyond their thinking. Once they are in stress they have difficulty to concentrate on their study and finally their result will ruin because they cannot do well in their exams. That is how their academic performance shows such negative improvement from day to day because they cannot manage their stress well. Therefore, stress can be dangerous to student’s life. For those reasons, it is better that we should find the causes of stress which we are going through, know the bad effect that we may face and take actions to manage it.
below is my video reading the exposition text
Sosial network
Nowadays people use the Internet to communicate with others. Many of them share their feelings, ideas, opinions, and problems in social media. In fact, sharing problems on social media embarrasses themselves and really annoys others.
Those who share their problems on social networks really irritate other people. Social networks are not the place for sharing personal problems. Reading someone's personal problems on the Internet is really a nuisance.
Besides, one who shares problems on social media only shames himself. Other people who read about them will think that he has a miserable life. It will be bad if those who read his status are his boss or coworkers.
In my opinion, netizens should not share their problems on social networks. It is better for them to write their feelings in a diary or have a private talk with friends. Personal problems shared on the social media only show their negative side.
We know that :
 • Thesis
• Arguments
☆☆☆ based on what I have observed from the exposition text, it can be concluded that Exposition text has two forms namely Hortatory and Analytical. Beside both have different name, there is also a difference on how the genres consist of. In the Analytical exposition text, the generic structures will be Thesis, Arguments, and conclusion , but on Hortatory Exposition text, the generic structures are Thesis, Arguments, and Recommendation.  it is the conclusion and Recommendation. The conclusion will just conclude the text, but not the Recommendation.
Thank you
